We have listed a range of funding organisations and information resources for you on where to go for further help. The list of funding organisations is not exhaustive. There are many government schemes, trusts and foundations that provide funding for specific causes. You should always check with the relevant local body, for example your local authority about current grant schemes.
The information resources include a selection of national second-tier agencies and helper organisations that may be able to give you detailed advice on how to make an application to Lottery funders. These organisations may also give you advice on planning a project or running an organisation. In this section, you will find contacts of helper organisations that are most relevant to your project by sector, that is, arts, heritage, sports, community or general sector.
You should note that the information resources focus on national helper organisations for the UK. While we have picked the key national resources for you, there are many other helper organisations out there that provide specific support.

Funding Organisations Central Government The government runs a range of funding programmes. Funding Organisations All Churches Trust Ltd Provides grants in support of churches and charities preserving UK heritage.
