Based in Leven, Fife.

Why was this project so good?

Before this group applied to Awards for All they could not provide enough equipment for all the people who wanted to join them.  This project offered more people with disabilities the opportunity to take part in the group’s rambling activities, helping to improve their confidence and health and fitness in the open air.  It has also made the group more independent as they do not have to rely on borrowing equipment anymore.  This project was able to meet all four of the programme’s aims.
